Tour Itinerary

Your adventure begins at 6:15 am from the shores of Nungwi Beach, where you’ll board a comfortable speedboat and set out across the Indian Ocean. As the sun rises, painting the horizon in shades of gold and orange, you’ll be served light snacks and hot coffee the perfect way to start your safari journey while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and breathtaking morning views.
After approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours (depending on the weather), you’ll arrive at Saadani Beach, the only national park in Tanzania that meets the ocean. From here, you’ll be transferred to the main entrance gate of the park where your true wilderness experience begins.
Game Drive Experience
Get ready for a thrilling game drive across Saadani National Park, where the African Savannah meets the sea. You’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, antelopes, lions, and many species of birds. Along the way, a delicious packed lunch will be served in the bush, accompanied by soft drinks and fresh tropical fruits, allowing you to dine surrounded by pure African nature.

Wildlife Viewpoint
In the afternoon, you will be taken to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Wami River, where you can safely observe groups of hippos and crocodiles resting in their natural habitat. (Note: Boat safari on the river is excluded in this package). Before returning, enjoy a refreshing beach walk along Saadani wild coastline, where you may spot antelopes, monkeys, or even elephants roaming close to the ocean a rare and unforgettable sight in Tanzania.
Return Journey
At around 16:30 pm, you’ll begin your journey back to Zanzibar. As you cruise across the Indian Ocean, you’ll be treated to the mesmerizing beauty of the sunset at sea, a perfect ending to a day filled with wildlife, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
